Hammerheads On the Beach in Ocean City

Fish and chips, bambam shrimp, crabby patty, and classic burger order all fries came cold had only one was sent back it was just a turn off for my other family members worst food since being here.

It's a really good place, the food is delicious and really fresh!!Also it's not a fancy restaurant but is fast, good service and really good American bar experience! The bar area look amazing for drinks and talk with friends, it's not a family restaurant is more for people wanna talk drink and eat (obviously they don't have issues with kids and big families, the are really nice and give a good service)It's not expensive and is regular cheap but really good food totaly recommended ☺

My girlfriend and I both had tacos, she had the blackened shrimp taco and I had the mahi-mahi taco. Blackened season was delicious and the sauce on both tacos were superb. Service and our server alone was attentive and extremely nice. All the staff was busy and even during a rush we received good food at a comfortable pace and my girlfriend had a margirita which was delicious. They check IDs at the entrance so make sure you have them ready! Only reason I do not give five stars, and its not even a huge deal, we had both ordered 1 more water before we left and it was forgotten. Again its not a huge deal at all especially considering how busy they were. However, 100% would recommend.

Has that true beachy ambiance and tasty drinks! Went there for some frozen cocktails and an appetizer. The food and drinks came out quickly even with the big crowd of people there. Will be going back.

Food was good and that's the most important thing, which is why I gave 4 stars. But the service was VERY slow. Was an issue the whole time we were there. I'll chalk it up to a new server, but it was an issue. Also, the table was sticky af. But the food was good and fast, so I gotta give them that.

Started with the rum punch bucket. Quite literally a sand bucket with different rums and juices mixed in. Apps were great with a crab tater tot nachos. And the shrimp tacos are great. Service is quick and friendly.

Everytime i visit ocean city i make sure i go here. Best place to drink. Try their rum bucket if they have it. Also their margaritas are good. Only place with smoking area. I guess its pretty cool for the smokers and not so cool for the none smokers.I liked it . so go and try it for yourself

Definitely best seafood option on the entire boardwalk and the price is right. It's my family's fave. We also love how they also have a variety of other non-seafood option (for the kids). The service is also great (could be a bit faster though but we understand they're busy during dinner time).

I want to start off with everyone was very nice and the service was great except for they put my order in wrong. The crab legs are definitely not extra large clusters as stated on the menu and came out luke warm and the cluster end was still very cold. Out of five clusters ordered for the table 3 were still cold. I ordered the Cajun steamer pot and they brought out the Chesapeake pot which was corrected immediately but they didn't have the sausage for the pot. About seven of my mussels were closed which I understand it happeneds but seven out of like 20 is quite a bit. The shrimp seemed to be cooked frozen because we were having trouble getting the peels off without taking big chunks of meat with it. Most likely we will not be back we expected to pay the high prices but the food was below mediocre. There are to many other great restaurants around here.

Basic / overpriced menu offerings - what you’d expect on the boardwalk. Bar service was speedy, table service was fine.

I believe this was the first weekend they offered outdoor dining service during Covid-19. It appeared understaffed but everyone seemed to be working hard to keep up! Our waiter Molly was very attentive. My spouse and I went there for the snow crab leg bundle as we didn’t want AYCE. It was a good price/portion and delicious! Fries were great as well but a bit too thin and Thrashers a few blocks away is much better. To top it all of I had probably the best frozen alcoholic beverage which was sex on the boardwalk. I would return for this reason alone!

The food is pretty hit or miss... some is delicious while other meals are simply lacking, but decent pricing and the location give this restaurant a real bump!

Ordered drinks and food during our visit. had no wait, was able to walk up and sit at the bar. I ordered the crabby tots, bf ordered grilled shrimp tacos which came with a refreshing mago slaw. He could have done with a trio, but the 2 he received were very good. He got a rum bucket , I got a Frozen Sex On the Boardwalk. I was in love.

The location and atmosphere are the best part of this place. The food was good, but not great. The drinks were tasty and and the beer was cold. I would recommend this place.

Ordered fish and chips and they gave us A BAG of potato chips.... They gave us very little and small pieces of fish as well. The rest of the food overall was not anything special and overpriced.

Never ever in my life have I been to a seafood restaurant that charges you for BUTTER!!!! My husband and son split a $50 seafood pot and they brought out one cocktail sauce and one butter! Over two pound of seafood and two ears of corn with ONE butter! Is it really that serious that you can’t bring butter with seafood??????

A true vintage surf shop . A great selection of classic surfboards . The staff is awesome . This is a nothing like the other tourist traps on the strip .

We went in on a Sunday night to get a drink, the bartender said hello and then walked away to talk with her coworkers while we just stood there and we just eventually walked out.

Wife n I had dinner there last night, she got the crab legs n totally loved them! I got the fish n chips n it was made perfect! Two nice portions of breaded haddock n fresh cut fries. She loved her orange crush n my beer was cold. It was a little pricey but I guess worth it. We would definitely go back again!

Food is okay, nothing special compared to other places on the boardwalk. Place had a weird vibe since they block all Latin music from their TouchTunes jukebox and most rap artists as well including Bad Bunny and Big Sean to name a couple artists. Weird vide

Perfect beach bar! Drinks are so good, and the seafood was amazing. Good vibes and great service. These Pittsburgh natives were happy campers at Hammerhead's.

The food, the atmosphere, the staff, everything about Hammerheads is amazing! I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know. I return every year faithfully ❤️

Second time going here, food is great, Shark Tank is a must if you are a drinker and sharing. Didn't have anything I did not like.

The service was horrible and so was the food. Hamburger was dry andburnt and the oysters where the worst I ever had. Thanks to this wonderful couple who suggested Harrison's down by the pier. Finally got the best food and service.

This place has went downhill within the last year. August 28th, 2019 ordered takeout, when I went to pick up, they said that they were out of crab cakes. August 29th, 2019, went at 9:45 PM, said we couldn't get OC crush drinks cause the kitchen was closed? Didn't make sense? Why do you have to have the kitchen opened to make a drink?

Fries were amazing. We had the steamed shrimp and mussels, they were excellent. Very cute outdoor seating. We loved our bicardi bucket

We came here by accident and were pleasantly surprised. The drinks are awesome. There's no happy hour but they have $6 patron shots and other deals that are all day everyday. Probably the best strawberry "sand in your butt"ever. Food comes out quickly! The coconut shrimp is amazing and the crab dip as well. Bathrooms are dated yet clean; exactly what you can expect from an old boardwalk building. One of my favorite spots on the boardwalk!

Don't get the sliders, but the chicken tenders are great, and the hand-cut fries are really good. The shrimp tacos were good. They allow smoking in the outdoor bar right next to where you eat. It's right next to a brewery and you can get a beer there and bring it to your table.

Had lunch there today, outside seating only available. Had the crab and grilled cheese sandwich and shrimp tacos. They were both good but the shrimp tacos were EXCELLENT!

Service was ok. They were understaffed due to unexpected good weather so not the staffs fault they were very polite and friendly. Nice atmosphere however the food was just pretty plain and far from exceptional.

This place is incredible, and has incredible alcohol definitely a place I would go to travel the boardwalk and drink.

We came here literally every day of our vacation. The food is really good, especially the crab dip. The drinks were strong and the rum bucket was our favorite. The kitchen apparently closed at 5PM on a Sunday which we thought was weird but other than that everything was fine. Rachel gave us great service everyday and we can’t wait to go back!
